DAZLISM is a human-centered art movement born from a place of deep sorrow, silence, and the search for meaning. It began when I, Afzal, found myself disconnected from life, wounded by unreturned love, shaken by the loss of a guiding presence, and overwhelmed by the weight of a world that felt unkind and uninviting. The loneliness drained my energy. The pain made me still.
In that silence, I began to draw, not with a goal, but with a need. Through lines and shapes, I found a language that helped me release what words could not. As I drew, something changed: my mind cleared, my body reawakened, and my energy returned. I discovered that expression is healing, and that healing is movement.
DAZLISM is the name I gave to this journey.
The letter D, a rotated A, stands for a new beginning.
The letter “L” stands for the middle and “Z” represents the ending.
DZL comes from everyone's life because this path is represent , complete life journey.
This movement is for anyone who has felt lost, broken, or invisible. It is for those who carry pain but want to transform it. For those who are ready to move and not to escape, but to feel, to express, and to grow.
DAZLISM is not about being an artist. It's about being alive.
It invites you to pick up whatever tool you have and begin.
From stillness to expression. From pain to purpose.
HUMAN CENTERED / ART as HEALING / MENTAL POWER FUELS PHYSICAL ENERGY /
PERSONAL EXPRESSION / EMPATHY
DAZLISM is guided by the following values:
Human-Centered: The movement begins with the individual. Every person’s journey matters. Every story is valid.
Art as Healing Art is a way of expression: It’s about discovering your own form of art whether as a talent or a passion. Art becomes a personal and sacred tool to express inner struggles and find clarity.
Mental Power Fuels Physical Energy: The mind holds the key to unlocking the body’s potential. Dazlism recognizes this and encourages the exploration of the inner self to activate one’s physical energy.
Personal Expression: There are no rules of style or technique. Each person finds the path of expression best suited to themselves.
Empathy: This movement welcomes everyone: survivors, seekers, dreamers, and those still searching.
Courage to Begin. You don’t have to be an artist. You just need the courage to start.
DAZLISM does not follow a fixed method. It is an evolving, intuitive process rooted in honesty, emotional truth, individual experience, and shared connection.
The path may include:
Letting thoughts guide the hand while drawing.
Visualizing emotions and translating them into shapes, textures, or colors.
Pausing to observe the forms you've drawn and exploring whether they connect to ideas in art or design.
Using the body as a medium, through movement, dance, breath, rhythm, drawing, sculpting, modeling, or hands-on work with materials like paper, leather, stones, or other simple, tactile elements.
My drawings became my anchor. They helped me unlock a reservoir of energy that had been buried for years. I now move, create, and live with purpose, and invite others to do the same.
Begin where you are. You need just intention.
Express what you feel. Even if it doesn’t make sense at first.
Respect your rhythm. Healing is not linear.
Move your body. Let your mind guide your motion. Even a small gesture matters.
Share if you feel ready. Connection is healing, but only when it feels safe.
Never judge your creation. It reflects truth, not perfection.
Support others. Dazlism is a collective of individuals walking their own paths, but never alone.
